I was there, and it was awesome.
WAS BAD ASS. I mean, if it were rated R (which is very well could have been), can you IMAGINE how much more bad ass it could be? The cast was great… Woody Harrelson as Haymitch and Elizabeth Banks as Effie was perfect. President Snow, man what a jerk, was portrayed SO WELL. Of course, details were missing and it had its cheesy bits, which I feel is to be expected for a movie adaptation. And can I just say, if you didn’t (or don’t for those who haven’t seen it yet or read the books) cry your eyes out at Rue’s death, then you have no soul. Suzanne Collins, you clever clever lady.
